Caring Animal Hospital is a full service veterinary hospital. We concentrate on small animal medicine mainly dogs and cats. Our hospital prides ourselves in giving quality veterinary care in a compassionate, caring environment. We have a strong commitment to preventative care including annual to biannual wellness exams, heartworm testing, testing for tick born diseases, wellness bloodwork, body condition scoring (BCS), and dentistry.

We realize not every pet is the same; therefore, our preventative medicine program evaluates a pet's lifestyle and develops a unique vaccine, flea & tick prevention, and intestinal parasite prevention protocol to each patient at any other veterinary clinic in the area.

Any pets with medical concerns are given the attention needed for diagnosis and treatment of their illness. We have the ability to take radiographs and run bloodworm immediately. We can hospitalize and treat most medical conditions. We also can perform most surgical procedures including routine spay and neuter, tooth removal, growth removal, exploratory and biopsy, and orthopedic procedures including cruciate repair, femoral head and neck osteotomy, and some patella luxation procedures.

Caring Animal Hospital now offers care for your exotic pets. Dr Harshbarger is available Tuesday evenings from 5-7pm and Wednesday afternoons from 2-4:30pm to treat your small mammals, birds and reptiles. We offer diagnostics, treatment and surgery for your ill pets. We also recommend annual wellness exams for all of your exotic animals.
