AppointmentsYou can schedule wellness appointments or sick patient appointments on-line. Please fill out the on-line form fully with your name, phone number, e-mail address, pet species, pet’s name, and reason for the appointment so we can be prepared when you come in. We will contact you by telephone the next business day between 8:30-9:30am to confirm your appointment. Dentistry AppointmentsFor all Dental appointments:• We must have examined your pet in the past 12 months at Caring Animal Hospital • We must have current bloodwork in the past 12 months for animals <7 years and within the past 6 months for animals >7 years. (Current bloodwork is defined individually but mostly includes kidney and liver function, blood glucose, and total protein evaluation.) We will run bloodwork here the morning of the dentistry if bloodwork has not been run previously as specified above. • All dongs must have negative heartworm test in the past 12 months. Heartworm test can be run the morning of the dentistry prior to anesthesia for any dog not current on a heartworm test. Grooming AppointmentsFor all grooms: Our groomer works on Wednesday – Friday with occasional Mondays. Drop off times are 9:00 am, 10:00am, 11:00am, & 12:00pm. Each groom takes 1 & ½ to 2 hours. We only accept our clients for grooming and your dog must be up-to-date on the distemper combination, rabies, and bordatella (kennel cough) vaccinations i.e. within the past 12 months.
